My Story
In 2009, I retired from a 17-year career in banking to focus all my energy and love on raising my 3 beautiful children. I loved being a “stay at home” mom but after having 3 difficult pregnancies and dealing with a health issue faced by my youngest son after his birth, I struggled with depression and felt as though I was beginning to lose myself. 2 years later I made one of the most incredible and bravest choices of my life… I joined Scentsy – just for fun — after falling in love with the product from the 1st moment I smelled it. In 6 short months, everything changed. I started feeling like “me” again. I felt energized, enjoyed socializing and meeting new people and started to break out of my shyness. I was successfully growing my business, all while balancing the demands of a busy family. And within my 1st year, I had a team of 7 and was rewarded with a FREE trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It was during this trip that I had my “Aha” moment, feeling so inspired by everyone I had met. I returned home determined to TRIPLE my team by the end of the year and in just 2 months, I surpassed this goal, growing my team to 30. But it didn’t end there, since then my team has reached 54 and is still growing strong. I’ve also received numerous awards, accolades and incentives along the way… my latest being an incredible trip to NYC taking in a Broadway show, dinner cruise, Yankees game and all the other sites and sounds of this amazing city – the kind of stuff I had only ever dreamt of! Now, I just can’t stop smiling. I’m almost 40 years old and am proud to be a “stay at home” mom with the BEST career anyone could ever dream of!! I get to be with my kids all day, go on field trips, help with hot lunches, go on play dates, all while meeting incredible like-minded women, forming new friendships, building my own team and earning FREE trips, as well as a very healthy income. And its all happened simply by sharing products I truly love, for a company I fully believe in. Scentsy has changed my life – as an individual, a wife and a mother. It’s taught me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to – for myself, as well as for my family, all while still being there for them. Thanks to Scentsy I’ve learned who I am as a person and am now able to be passionate and embrace every aspect of my rewarding career and family life
